Azkarify Android privacy policy

Azkarify lets you read azkar, follow daily journeys, count repetitions, and calculate prayer times. The app does not require an account.

Information kept on your device

The azkar text is included in the app and can be read offline. The app stores your favorites, journey progress and points, language and appearance choices, reminder settings, and saved prayer location on your device. A saved prayer location can include a name, coordinates, and a time zone.

If you choose “Use current location,” Android gives the app a location fix after you grant location permission. The app uses the coordinates to calculate prayer times on your device. It does not send your GPS coordinates, saved prayer location, azkar reading, favorites, or journey progress to our servers or to RevenueCat. The app does not request background location access.

If you enable reminders, the app schedules notifications on your device. You can change the reminder times or turn reminders off in the app. You can change notification and location permissions in Android settings.

Country and city search

When you use the online country and city picker, the app sends the selected country code, city search text, and display language to the Azkarify Countries API to return matching places. The request also carries a Google Play Integrity token to verify the app, and the service receives your IP address as part of the network request and uses it for abuse limits. Google processes app and device integrity information to issue the token. The app does not send GPS coordinates to this API. Downloaded country and city results are cached privately on your device for offline use.

Optional support purchases

The app uses RevenueCat to show and manage optional support purchases. RevenueCat is configured when the app opens. It creates an anonymous app user ID and may process app and device information needed for its service. If you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat processes the purchase history and transaction information. Google Play handles payment processing. Azkarify does not receive your payment card details.

Sharing and security

We do not sell your data or use your prayer location, azkar reading, favorites, or journey progress for advertising. The app has no separate advertising or analytics SDK. Country and city search requests go to the Azkarify Countries API; purchase information goes to RevenueCat and Google Play. These network requests use encryption in transit.

Retention and deletion

Your local app data remains on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. Android device backup may keep a copy if backup is enabled on your device; its retention and restoration follow your device and Google account settings. RevenueCat and Google Play retain purchase records under their own policies. To ask about a purchase record or request deletion of information we can control, email stringsaeed@gmail.com. Some transaction records may need to remain with Google Play or RevenueCat for purchase, security, or legal reasons.
